How do you get it close to mandel bent? It's either mandel bent or it isn't.

I paid $200 about 5 years ago to have non-mandrel TDs done on my 95.
(Price included bullet mufflers)
I learned two things

A) TDs sound like crap on a 3.4 (even with H/C)
B) Next time, I'll spend the extra on the mandrel bends.

Using a torch while bending the pipes. It bends them with very minimal distortion or crinkling. Close to mandrel bent, but not quite.

Are these prices you guys are mentioning for steal or for stainless... I prefer stainless myself.
