True Dual Exhaust setup? Options and whats needed?

What are my options for setting up a true dual exhaust setup on a 96 camaro LT1?

The car is lowered, so i should probably run some long tube headers, should I go with an x pipe, or straight duals? What problems with clearance will i have?

I just need some options on what setups i can run, and exactly which parts and part numbers I need.

Any help is appreciated.

Im looking at 3" dual exhaust setups since I will be having a 383 motor with Lloyd ported Trickflow heads, lt4 intake manifold ported, lloyd cam, and some other things so i figure 3" is the best way to go since i have the power for it.

3" exhaust setup

is that exhaust setup with some pacesetter LT's a good way to go? Is there anything I should worry about with that setup?

is there a better option out there that won't cost over $700.

I would probably get some bullet mufflers to go along with that.

How mean would that sound with a 383, lloyd ported trickflow heads and ported lt4 intake with custom cam by lloyd?

I don't want it to be as loud as straight exhaust with no cats or mufflers but i want it to be louder and sound meaner than my american thunder flowmaster setup.

Go with really any brand of longtube header. then get a dr. gas x-pipe to bolt up to it. those sound real nice along with the longtubes. Then attach the dynomax bullet race mufflers to the x-pipe. Nothing, IMO, sounds better and makes more power.

I picked up my setup (custom x-pipe and dynomax bullet race mufflers w/dumps) fully assembled for $110. Just look around.

When you dump the exhaust so it faces down at an angle, does that cause the exhaust to have the same effect as when you would normally drive by a divider on the road and it resonates off the wall?

is the purpose of the downward dumps to make it louder?

I am actually not sure what the purpose of the dumps is. I think directs exhaust fumes away from the cockpit.

last question, would i have to worry about clearance with 3" duals if my car is lowered with the eibach sportline springs? i think that is a 2" drop
