TRickflow heads

I would probably wait to get a cam also , if a cam was planned in the future.
But I would not say pointless. Look at Ls1's . Better head flow will increase power even with a stock cam.
Re: TRickflow heads
I would think they would add more power to stock motor for the same reason intake and exahaust do...now with a bigger cam the heads would add even more because there wouldnt be the stock head restriction. Just seems logical but is it correct??
Re: TRickflow heads
They are a great head for porting and strokers.... I've seen some 300cfm examples in the shop and even after you get the chambers done to work with the valves you can't get them much lower than 56-57cc even after angle milling.
For a stock bottom end motor that's not going to have a blower on it, stick with LT1 castings that are ported.

Re: TRickflow heads
But bringing back to the question I originally asked or should I say I was more interested in hearing answers about...Does anyone have them on their car? How do they perform?? With a cam and the heads what gains are realized?
Re: TRickflow heads
As I said, I do... dyno sheets on my webpage in the sig. Only time I took it to the track I got a 13.3, because I spun a bearing and my car shut off halfway through. Working on getting that fixed though...
Re: TRickflow heads
97USAF,
Did you just spin the bearing? That's terrible to hear, but look at it as an opportunity to improve it. Raise the compression a lil (11-11.5) with some aftermarket pistons, some good rods and new bearings and it will be golden.
Your car was on its way to making some serious power with the stock bottom end. Hope you get it back together soon, I've been there and done that and it is not fun having to redo all your hard work.
Good luck
