Trickflow guideplate question

Ok so the rocker arms line up great on top of the valves, but the pushrods come close to the bottom portions of the guideplates. It is very close to contact. Will this be a problem? Pushrod length is 7.03 (have checked geometry). I am using 1.6RR BTW

If you are asking if the sides of the pushrods touch the guideplates they do.
Thats why there called guideplates dont worry.

Yeah I had custom pushrods made by manton. It did the measurement to get correct geometry. The reason for the different size is that I have a 0 decked block and slightly milled heads.

No I mean at the bottom of the U shape. They are not touching at all until at top of the lift. I am not even sure if they are touching. Just paranoid I guess. It seems like they would just polish out if anything.

I had the same issue, too close for comfort. I took a die grinder and made them about .060" deeper, not touching the sides of course.
