Exclamation Trick flow heads and LT4 Intake probs.

Got a set of trick flow heads and LT4 intake all ported by LE and the intake isnt lining up. It seems the head is the problem. Both LT1 intake and LT4 intake, seems like they dont line up with the holes on the head. If you put the bolts in one side, the other side is off like an 1/4 of an inch.

LT4 intake casting number: 12550631
LT1 intake casting number: 10108630
TF heads part numbers: TFS-3042b010
LT1 heads casting numbers: 10128374

Any ideas why this wont work?

How much is the block decked?

You check this with GASKETS IN THERE?

Deck is unknown but it was used as a race block b4 we got it. The pistons are .007 out of the hole. The head gsket is a .042 and yes they wil not line up with the intake gaskets in place. Works fine with the intake gaskets out.

How much did he have to cut off the heads to get the combustion chamber volume down where it belongs?

Sounds like a little over .030" was taken off the block. You need to get the manifold surfaced.
