Trick Flow heads?

definitely a good head for forced induction, favorable to supercharged applications but will work good for a nitrous setup. they flow like a motha and with a good nitrous cam they should breathe real good.

Maybe someone can answer a few ?'s then for me. I am going to build a 383 stroker with a 350 shot on top of it. I had planned on using JE 11.8:1 nitrous pistons but I am wondering how low that would lower the compression down? I am using the CC306 for now which I feel will be adequate for these heads and I can always upgrade later if I am not impressed.

Adjusting the CR is easy for basic calculations. The Trick Flows having a 64cc chamber (not un-common in traditional SBC's) so what you want to do is go in the catalog and look for the CR you want for a 383 setup with a 64cc chamber. Not a problem! Also selecting a cam will be a decision as well, dont forget that.
The TFS heads are similar to AFR 195cc heads from what I've seen so far. Considering that AFR's have a huge lead time right now, and the plug shrouding, Trick Flow's heads look very promising. I am going to be running a set on my 355.
a 350 shot is a LOT of nitrous to run on a motor. Do a search for the guys that are doing as much and see what they are really running and what they did to get there, you might change your mind.

I know a 350 is a lot. Hence the reason the I have been taking so long to pay careful attention to every little detail. If my engine builder and the guy machining the block feel it cannot handle the power we will drop down the juice a little. With the right suspension I hope I can shoot for the LT1/LS1 T56 record but that's gonna be hard even with the right suspension. Thanks for the info on th heads. I will check it out.
