trap speed

trap speed

i know my trap speeds are low but how low are they? what should i see after getting everything worked out?

mods:
see sig
1.6rr
fully ported heads by lloyd 274/194 at .6" with 2.00/1.57 valves
ported intake

and the car weighs 3540 with me in it.

any ideas? i was thinking 112-114?

I would think about 110-112, and my basis for that is the semi-low exhaust flow numbers that you gave. Plus, those flow numbers are peak, and at .600 of all things. That cam with 1.6 rockers is only .536 intake and .544 exhaust. Take a look at the flow chart and divide the difference between the .500 and .550 to get an idea of what you're flowing at cam lift.

i can remember exactly, but ill look and post it tonight. its somewere around 250-260 i think. im seriously considering pulling that cam this winter and putting in a way bigger, either the gm847, cc306, or the new 233/239. to take better advantage of my headwork. i think i could pick up some serious HP with a bigger cam.
