Transplanting my motor from '94 to '97

I am taking my modded lt1 out of my '94 auto car and transplanting into a '97 m6 car. Besides the obvious like clutch and things, anything that I should know before I start?

What about going from OBD1 in the '94 to OBD2 in the '97? There must be some issues to be addressed.

you 'll have to use the exhaust from the 97 for the o2 sensors, also think you have to have the reluctor ring on the crankshaft behind the timing cover, timing cover, crank postion sensor, put a longer dowel in the cam, switch optisparks, change knock sensors.. use the optispark vacuum harness and intake elbow from the 97

you'll also need the shorter crank hub from the 97 to go on the crankshaft to make up the difference with the reluctor..

i'm sure somebody will chime in with somemore info..

i did just the opposite swap as you, i went with a 97 engine into a 94z28

or convert the 97 to an obd1 car.... I personally would just convert the engine to obd2 and keep the 97 set up as it is. not that hard to do since you'll have everything out, and give you a chance to freshen up gaskets/tune up etc.
