transmission shift kit questions

My car has a shift kit installed and it shifts extremely hard into second gear. Does anyone know of anywhere i could get a cheap stock valve body for the trans?

If this is the Trans-Go Shift kit, then most likely whoever installed it put in 2 or 3 washers in the 2nd gear accumulator. You can drop the pan and remove them, it is fairly easy to do, or you can have the person who installed the kit do this. If it is another name valve body kit, then most likely the 2nd gear feed hole is to large, and/or the 2nd gear accumulator is blocked, this is harder to fix.

The Trans-Go is completely adjustable. You might try someone else that is familiar with this kit.
