If I'm taking a corner from a stop and i accelerate slightly aggresively, when the transmission shifts it sounds like somethings hitting something, im not exactly sure what... i didnt necessarily feel it but i was going through a parking lot and i could hear the echo off of the other cars. Is this the trans mount broken causing the transmission to move when it shifts? Id like to solve this before it gets any worse, and before i start adding performance mods. But who knows, maybe it was just somebody closing their car door... if anybody could offer some info on this it'd be greatly appreciated... thanks

 

I would think that you could hear/feel a bad trans mount taking off from a stop, going straight also. It is possible that it's getting weak though. I'd either have a shop check it, which usually costs nothing, or climb under there and check it yourself. All you gotta do is pry up on the tranny and you'll be able to tell if it's broken or weak. Both my cars have Energy Suspension mounts on 'em and they seem to hold up pretty good.
