I need some help. I have a 93 formula with LT1. 700R4 tranny is screwing up. It doesn't shift worth a damn. The only way to get out of first is to take it up to 5 grand. I put a B&M Transpak kit in it about 8 months ago and everything was fine until about 2 months ago.

I don't know if I should rebuild it and with what kit, or get a new one.

Any advice on what it could be would be very helpful. Thanks!

 

Check your TV cable, that is what happened when mine frayed and broke inside the casing.

 

Could possibly be the TV cable or it could be the tranny going down on you. TV cable is a good place to start, it caused mine to act up (when I had my IROC) made it do all kinds of goofy things, had it adjusted and it was good...
