slave/master cylinder and lines all come together

i am in the process of getting a new slave and master cylinder, resovoir, and lines. i was wondering if they come all as one unit. i thought they did but i took the part # 12557509 to the local shop and they said that was the master cylinder. the slave cylinder and lines were seperate according to them. a part # would be great if they all come as one unit. its a 95 t-56. thanks

The only way you can buy it is as one whole prebled assembly.. I'm 99% positive that's the only way it's available from GM.. I know that's how I bought it..

I don't have a part number though sorry.. I'm sure someone here does. You are on the right track though..

It's not too bad. I managed to do it without removing anything else to do it. The hardest part is getting the U-bolt out that holds the master cylinder to the firewall. I just replaced it with two ordinary bolts and locknuts.

yeah, getting that thing up there and attached to the firewall was a PITA!! I never thought to trash the u bolt for two seperate bolts, I bet that would have made it a lot easier.

Really, it's not a very big job.. it takes a little patience as does everything on these cars..

A local dealer only charged 101? Thats incredibly low. Freakin dealer here wanted 231. I called Dal and he got it to me overnight saturday delivery for 120. Couldn't beat that with a stick. Too bad the clutch still doesn't completely disengage.

It is one complete sealed unit. I bought mine locally for $105.

The u-bolt is a major PITA to get in there and everything aligned properly. I was about ready to throw things while I was working on it.

It is very difficult to get up under the dash to work with the bolts.
