Someone please help.

I have a 94 camaro with a 4L60E and all of a sudden my car wont go into 3rd or 4th under part throttle. When I am at a stop light and take off normal, it shifts hard into 2nd and when it comes time to go into 3rd, it dont, it just wants to rev. Now if I come to a complete stop and give it over 50% throttle it will *usually* go in to 3 and 4 and the converter will lock just like normal. It will even chirp the tires on the 2-3 shift. And then everything feels fine from there unless i come to almost a complete stop and then it all starts again. I have Transgo shift kit and a 3600 Vigilante converter. I changed the 1-2 and 2-3 solenoid from another 4L60E, but the problem is still there. The fluid is full but appears dark only after 1000 miles. I dont think it is the clutch packs because why would it still hold third and forth sometimes even under WOT when it decides to go into 3rd? I even tried another computer with no luck. Is there anything I can to fix it? Thanks for your help.

same thing happened to me twice about 2 months ago

the first caused was the solenoids
the 2nd cause was one of the piston cracked.

 

I'm pretty sure you can fix it by getting a M6

You mean a piston in the valve body or the engine?

 

Oh and also, when the car and trans warm up it seems to want to go in to third more often. If i ride out second gear with a pretty go foot on the throttle and shift it in to third after 27 mph it goes into all above gears. but if i go easy on the gas and shift into 3 it wont go it will just rev. anybody?
