Tranny/Clutch Problems

When i ride my car hard, then for about 30 min later whenever i downshift it feels as if it rubs or somthing like that?
it sounds like a rubbing sound as a release the clutch
?!?
ANY ideas

Not all that sure what the noise is coming from, but my car started that right before the clutch started slipping real bad, then died.
