I know, heads are in the plans. I also need a 3500 stall, 300 shot of nitrous etc etc.

Wow I'll second that. Stock heads are choking that engine big time. Also, I didn't see a tune in that mod list. That could be a significant amount of power lost...

What was the DA? I'm not bashing, but somethings not right.

Not a pro racer but I am looking at it on dragtimes.com and it says for 9:53 (ran at 9:27)

at 9:53 it was 68 degrees, 58% humidity, 30.12 DA (if that sounds all wrong, sorry).

The car was not running 110% but the small kinks that are in it should not effect it "to much".

115 MPH on stock unported heads..... doesn't sound too bad to me. Big problem with the ET is the weak 60-ft. Once he gets it launched, it picks up respectable MPH over the 2nd 1/2 of the track. Stock converter may explain the weak 1/8th.

How big is the cam?

30.12"Hg is the barometric pressure, not the density altitude.

231/239 571 intake lift, .587 exhaust lift.

Does 1445 sound more like the DA?

Yeah, the 1400~ rpm launches are not to quick.

For those who do not sit in here all day reading every little post like some of us (me lol), the reason for the abnormally large cam on stock heads is because heads are in the plans, I just did not have the cash and was not changing cams twice. Also nitrous is in the cards.

Density altitude is expressed in "feet" and reflects a combination of the barometric pressure, the air temperature and the humidity.
