track #s le2 383 BRE cam
With some work and a better suited converter I'll bet a ggod 6 to 8 tenths will be shaved off EASY!!!.
I know with my car the first time out to the track with the 383 was very disappointing, with some tuning and a few changes I wittled it down more than a second, and That was just with about 10 to 15 passes total.
One thing I learned is the timing has to peak a little earlier with a 383, and the lead up top has to be reduced I ran a total of 38 deg by 3500 rpm and as low as 32 deg past 6000, but each car is different and I'll bet BRE will give you a better idea of the timing curve for that cam.
The stock fuel pump on my car couldn't keep up past 4500 either.
