TPS voltage changing without adjustment

I have been working to get my idle right for a while. I got a scanner and adjusted the throttle stop and tps sensor till i got 45 counts on the iac. It ran good for a day then when i went full throttle 2day the idle would not come down from 1800rpm. Checked tps voltage with a multimeter and it went from .66 to .81. I changed it back and made sure the bolts were tight enough. went 4 a drive and it went from .66 to .71 now. I dont see how it could be moving in that short of time. Idle is still high...

Are you sure the blades aren't failing to return to a fully closed position? That would explain the raised RPM and the increased voltage.

blades are coming back flush with the throttle stop. i leaning more to a electrical problem than a mechanical one now. I read that thread and your problem is very simular to mine. I just hate throwing parts at problems but maybe i should just get a new tps sensor. Car is 15 years old and got 48000 miles on it. i guess if wouldnt be a waste of money

I know what you mean about throwing money into it without knowing for sure, but at least the tps is relatively cheap
