towing a z28

can i tow an auto 94 z28 on a tow dolly without pulling the driveshaft?

My experince with car dollys and camaros are good. I have only towed M6s but all the ones I have gotton are to high for the stock z28. The front bumper hit the center of the trailer. So remeber to bring/get some long 2x6 pieces of wood.

will towing it without dropping the driveshaft damage the tranny if it is in neutral?

If your going a short distance then you'll be fine. If your doing a long haul then drop the D/S, or you'll burn up the trans. It easy to drop the drive shaft just 2 bolts at the back u-joint, then slide it out. Some trans fluid will come out but you can plug it up.
