hi guys did a search and i guess the torque spec for the rocker studs are 50ib/ft. do i put any threadlocker on them? the shop i bought them from said not to put anything, but you know i trust your guys opinion over any shop right thanks as always

 

Yes definately put some of the red stuff on there...Last thing you need is a stud backing out on you.

actually, i was just reading the head/cam install guide, and it says to put thread SEALANT on the bolts, not threadlocker anyone know for sure which of the two its supposed to be? thanks guys.

 

I'd go with sealant, as some may touch water jackets etc..

 

Are we talking about rocker studs or head bolts? Rocker studs take thread lock and they dont hit water jackets. head bolts take thread sealer because they do hit water jackets.
