tore my engine apart today, took the heads off and got ready for teh new cam and heads. ran into one scary situation!!!!!!


on my number 8 cylinder.... my double valve spring broke and i noticed a large junk sitting in the head, these were some crane 101308 springs. i didnt see any small peices so i think i'm okay there. the peice was the second iner spring, kinda of a flat metal spring.

anone know what caused that, i was running a 224/230... nothing to big...... and the springs were installed right...... can i buy 1 spring and sell the set?
