Tired of my CAI.

I don't like the look of my elbow or my CAI. I want a system that looks like this.

Now, how much of a performance difference would it be if I deleted the MAF and went with this system. As for my car, this winter it will be undergoing an LE2 conversion combined witht he 100 shot I have on it now. Does anyone else think this is dumb?

looks good either way. Seems like to much work than it's worth. Who all sees your motor anyways?

Re: Tired of my CAI.

Sounds like it would be a headache to do, and probably just end up sucking in hot underhood air and hurting power which is why you got the CAI to begin with.

Seems like it could be done though, reprogram the PCM to function in speed density without throwing an SES, and finding a place to stick the IAT.

its not worth it, there is no gains from doing so. What cold air intake are you running anyways?

Re: Tired of my CAI.

There's always the "ram air" option....... works with or without an MAF sensor, pulls in cold outside air, and looks halfway decent.....

Re: Tired of my CAI.

I like the ram air idea, but I'm not going to fork over $1200 for a new hood/intake.

I run a moroso CAI.
