Tire Size?
Just curious..... if the stock tire on a WS6 or SS coupe is 275/40-17, and it doesn't rub in the front, why would a narrower tire like a 255/50-16 rub in the front? I know the 255/50-16 is 0.40" larger in diameter than the 245/50-16 or 275/40-17, but that shouldn't be enough to cause things to rub. And I've used 17x9.5" wheels with both more offset and less offset than the stock wheels, and the 275's never rubbed.
Just curious.
By the way, if you have an edit program, or an HPP, you should revise the tire diameter in your PCM to 26.0" to avoid a speedometer error with the 255/50's. Only about 1mph error at 60 mph.
