Tips for removing driver's side drain plug?
well PB blaster works well...let it soak....
if that doesn't work you could use a torch...but i dont recammend it.
pb blaster will work...make sure your using a 1/2 drive to get it of....need that tourqe sometimes to get stuff loose.

I used a couple of long extensions on my ratchet and a flexi socket thing. Then I had to have a friend of mine put it back on because he has much smaller hands then me. It helps if you remove the oil filter.
What are you taking it off for btw? I just did my heads/cam swap and it looked like it was going to be too hard to get off and I feared breaking it off in there so I left it alone. Didn't need it off so it worked out well.
I guess your talking about the silver drain plug for the coolant. This is what worked for me. From the bottom, put a 6pt wrench on it and hold the end going on the plug and tap the other end of the wrench with a hard plastic hammer. You may need to go with a 12pt if the 6pt cann't get you lined up for the tapping.
I had my headers and y-pipe off when I did it so I don't know if those are in the way or not. I don't remember any large bolts (motor mount bolts) being in the way.
