Tips for removing driver's side drain plug?

A big bolt (motor mount bolt if I recall correctly) is in the way. Anybody found a tool or trick to get to it? It's *****-f*cka tight!

I used a couple of long extensions on my ratchet and a flexi socket thing. Then I had to have a friend of mine put it back on because he has much smaller hands then me. It helps if you remove the oil filter.

the big problem is getting to it. I can't get a socket on it. i can get a wrench on it but then i have no space to turn the wrench and no way to get leverage on it.

What are you taking it off for btw? I just did my heads/cam swap and it looked like it was going to be too hard to get off and I feared breaking it off in there so I left it alone. Didn't need it off so it worked out well.

I guess your talking about the silver drain plug for the coolant. This is what worked for me. From the bottom, put a 6pt wrench on it and hold the end going on the plug and tap the other end of the wrench with a hard plastic hammer. You may need to go with a 12pt if the 6pt cann't get you lined up for the tapping.
I had my headers and y-pipe off when I did it so I don't know if those are in the way or not. I don't remember any large bolts (motor mount bolts) being in the way.

Wrench, and tapped the end of wrench gently with a hammer. I remember being able to get at it from the top.
