Tips on installing a Hooker exhaust???
Make the cut on the stock I-pipe just in front of the rear axle. When installing the new cat-back, get all the pieces in place without tightening them too much. There's going to be a bit of back and forth here and there, adjusting where things sit before you have it just where you want it. Tighten down as you go.
Crank it up, check for any leaks, crack a cold one, and start thinking about that header install...

The stock pipe needs to be cut to remove it (or drop the rear, I suppose). If someone has some sort of trick for removing it without cutting it, I've never heard of it.
It's really not that bad, a hack saw, air tool cutter, pipe cutter, machine gun, what ever works.
