Tip - Gasket Removal
Tip - Gasket Removal
Use spray on gasket remover to help remove stuck on gaskets! It works great!
I'm definatly not a mechanic and have been working on small
stuff on my car for the last year or so, but I didnt know this stuff existed and wish i did sooner
So Hopefully this helps someone out (Just changed my differential gasket it was leaking). Before I was going nuts with the scraper trying to get it all off.. never again!
It just wiped right off after applying the gasket remover...

With the differential gasket i did i had some REALLY nasty gasket pieces stuck on, previously we used some gasket sealant to make a better seal... Just follow the instructions and wait the 5-10 minutes of soak in it recomends.. and repeat if it doesnt just comme off when u take the putty knife to it. I was able to get the surface shiny smooth after repeating the spray 2-3 times on the harder spots... it'll eventually get it all of just be patient and wait for it to soak in
