Tiny holes in the front oil galley plugs...

Engine builder has already installed the front oil galley plugs which are NOT the direct replacements with the tiny holes.

How important are these holes?

Should I pop them out and and put the drilled ones in?

those holes help lube your timing chain, it is a mod that engine builders have been doing for years

I am convinced. I will pop them out and drill a new pair.
