Timing set assembly question (with pic)

Where does this thing go on a 97 camaro? I seem to remember it going on the front of the crankshaft sprocket under the timing cover but I might be wrong. I don't see it in any of the diagrams on shbox.com.

b/w the hub and the crankshaft sprocket.

Thank is your reluctor ring for the crank position sensor.

my car had it when i bought it, just assumed it came stock. oh well, learn something new everyday.
