Timing question =Cam Install=

so i am finally getting around to my hotcam install, and i have a question for someone on the board. when removing the crank and camshaft gears, how do i know that the timing is correct when i reinstall it? is there a way to check. It may sound like a dumb question, but i just want reassurance. thanks in advance

Ditto, just line them up dot to dot. Cam dot at 6 O'clock, Crank dot at 12 0'clock
