Well I'm rebuilding my motor and was told that a timing set for my car was like 500 bones. What the heck. Where can I get a stock replacement set? I checked with GM direct but it looks different from the stock one.

The extreme duty set pn 12370835 is like $250, the leser LT4 is like $180, the stock one is much cheeper, maybe $100.

 

Once you've got the price, I'd suggest NOT ordering from gmpd.com, their S&H charges are just uncalled for. Give Jason Cromer a call. His price will be about dead on with what you'll see on GMPD's site, but shipping will be what shipping actually costs. BTW - I lived in Mililani for 3 years (97-99).. had a great time out there in Hawaii!
