Ticking sounds like pebbles

Hey guys I'm experiencing a weird ticking coming around either the flywheel is hitting something,or a header leak. But I'm only hearing this sound after I let the car sit for a few minutes after driving it for a period of time. Im not hearing it in morning when its cool outside,I'm hearing it too when I accelerate n take off too just sound like pebble in a can. I looked on top of the heads it sounds good. And my rpms are great, performance is great, accelerating is great. I know I'm due for oil change bcuz the oil is pretty dark. Idk if the oil being crappy looking has anything to do with this.

I am using the 91 premium fuel or supreme highest grade I alwayes use in my camaro.

The classic description of detonation is sounding like "ball bearings rattling in a can". But I don't think that is exactly what you are describing. I would check for an exhaust leak. Heat can affect the expansion rates of various components, causing exhaust leak to come and go based on temperature. Exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors can cause the engine to run rich. Look for carbon tracking around the header flange at the heads,

Hey Fred I checked for carbon tracking,no signs,I tightened up both side of the y pipe n they definitely needed it. I changed the oil n the oil was all dark. The ticking is gone so problem solved. Thank you
