ticking sound

Yesterday, I installed new AC Delco plugs and MSD 8.5mm wires on my 94 Formula. Before the installation I would hear a real low ticking sound but now after the tune up I'm not sure if it's the same ticking sound but if it is, it got like twenty times louder.I drove my car after I finished and that ticking sound is loud upon acceeleration.I also have Comp Cams 1.5 roller rockers, could they possibly be loose.Another thing, when you install the y-pipe to the manifolds should there be any space between them, because I left some space between them after tightening them.I would really appreciate any help and suggestions.

Re: ticking sound

If the ticking is coming from arcing of the ignition, you'll be able to see it in the dark (hood open, engine running).
