Thunder Racing OTVC Plug Wires

Does anyone have the OTVC setup that Thunder Racing sells? It comes with 8mm Taylor Wires and all the hardware needed. Just wondering about the quality of the kit and if it was the one to go with. Are there any other options out there?

It has the Taylor wires and the Made 4 U wire loom set. Both are good products IMO, can't go wrong.

I got it and it's a great kit. It includes everything you need including grease and the opti ends and those are 10 times easier to put together than the regular 90* ends.

I have that kit. It is very nice. The wires on the passenger side of the distributor are kind of a pain. They are in there pretty damn tight.

I use the TR kit and swear by them. Have worked great for me in a couple of cars.

I have them and they are very nice, though be aware you're gonna have to cut them! And even with that grease they can be a pain to set up...

I'm after having 3 sets and think they are great but sometimes can be a PIA to assemble but well worth it.

I have them, they were a PIA to put together, but work great. If you do a search for threads I started not to long ago, you will find the lengths you need to cut each wire to.

i got them and they are great. tips for making the ends.

take a drill bit and lightly hone out the inside, next boil the black ends in water to loosen and use grease or soap to slide the wire in, be careful and not to do too much bending.

i have made 2 sets already.

I found those lengths to be a bit too long. I have my wire seperators "upside down" with the wires to the top side of the valve cover and they're still too long on the rear cylinders.

I didn't have any problems assembling the wires. Just crimp the connector on very tight, put some grease on the inside of the opti end and slide the wire in as much as possible. When it stops, just use some long needle-nose pliers and pull it through the rest of the way.
