Throwing codes,77,83,84 after wreck.
Long story short, car went off the road and through a barbed wire fence..............now its throwing codes
77-something to do with the fan. im thinkin the switch got unhooked.....maybe
83-somthing about "reverse inhibit....." dont know what would cause this but the reverse still works fine.
84- something about the skip shift........but i already exed out the skipshift a long time ago with LT1 edit so no loss there i guess
But my question is what could or would make my car throw these codes...............is it just a sensor thing or maybe a fuse???? Any imput much appreciated..................

DTC 77 is the cooling fan relay circuit. 2 or 3 relays in the fuse/relay box under the hood? What "switch" are you assuming came loose? Did you have an aftermarket switch or temperature controller on the car?
DTC 83 is for the solenoid that locks out reverse, preventing you from shifting into reverse while moving forward. Typically, if the solenoid, fuse or wire has a problem, it gets extremely hard to move the shifter into the "reverse" gate.
DTC 84 Hard to understand why it would set if you "programmed it out".... do you mean you raised the invoke parameters so they could not be met under "normal" driving? One possibility is that you blew the fuse (or damaged the wire) that supplies +12V to the reverse inhibit solenoid and the skip shift solenoid, and the PCM checks the circuits on startup, or something similar.

They guy that did my LT1 edit got rid of my skipshift for me so i dont know exactly what he did but i do know that i havent had skipshift come up since then.......I will check the fuse......is it in the fusebox underneath the hood or on the side of the drivers door.....And lastly, if it is the wire, do you kno where this wire is located? The switch i was referring to is just the connector....you know. Thanks for the help.
