throttle response

my car idles at 400 rpm's, but when we push on the accelerator we get no response, acceleration

1994 trans am lt1, flowmaster cat back, cc306, bored over a little and cai. i think thats it.

Is the throttle cable connected properly to the throttle body? If anything it should die if you expose it to more fuel. That it might also be a bad fuel pressure regulator whats the psi?

check the throttle cable connection, tighten it up

if nothing happens, then ur throttle cable isnt hooked up, cuz ur butterflies wont open (the cable opens it)

even if there were other probs (like fuel) when the butterflies open up, the RPMs will jer around cuz more air will come in....

if nothign happens, than its ur cable

400RPM? GEt it to idle around 750-800 at least I'm guessing. Then it won't try to kill itself when the throttle is touched.
