Throttle body mods?

Okay, besides the bypass and porting it, isn't there some other free mods I can do to the throttle body and surrounding area?

Um.. only thing I can really think of is a good clean... and I guess an air foil lol

edit: even though air foil isn't free... but I just though of something else that could be... it's not really the TB but it's the intake elbow.. if you haven't already, you can remove that bellow and plug it up to smooth out air flow.

I took off the bellow (resonator or whatever it is called) when I did the opti . I'm thinking I might go ahead and remove the tb and replace both gaskets and clean it up real good like you said.

Move the IAT sensor farther away from the TB.

Give you more accurate temp reading - Stock its not hard for them to get heat soak (during long drives and what not) and can actually cause knock problems. It will oomph up you're timing a bit, also.
