throttle body bypass on a 94 lt1 a4
ok i know this sounds stupid but i sxearched for over a hour tody for a pic of the propper way of dooing it. i lookled at shoe boxes pic but it was a lil diff than mine looked. the metal pipe that has a bleed screw on it t's off and one end goes to the heater core and the other end goes to the throttle bodie. the hose coming off below the fill cap with the braded cover already goes to the steam pipe. hers the only way i can think of doing it.
get 2 doubble ended male barbed 3/8 fittings
get 4 hose clamps
get 2 silicone hose cover things.
get 1 ft of 3/8 heater hose
1. take off hose on rh side of throttle bodie.
2. cap the metal tube with one of the 3/8 tube covers.
3. take off hose on lh side of throttle bodie
4. cap the metal tube with the last tube cover
5. attach 1 double end male to the hose you undid in step 1.
6. attach the 1ft peice of heater hose to the fitting u attached in step 5
7.attach the other fitting to theother end of the heater hose. u attached in step 5.
8. attach the other end of the fitting you attached in step 7 to the hose you removed in step 3.

The only things you need are a 3/8 hose barb and two clamps. Remove the two hoses from the throttle body and join them with the barb and clamps and you are done. Very simple.
