three LE1 head install questions

three LE1 head install questions

1. what rocker studs do LE1 heads come with if at all?

2. Do the Roller rocker lock nuts come with the Pro-mag Roller rockers,
or do i need to buy them separate?

3. Does anyone sell a gasket kit for LT1 including most or all gaskets for head and cam swap?

Mine came back with stock studs.

summitracing.com should have the gasket set you are looking for.

My LE2's came with 7/16 rocker studs. Call Lloyd to double check what he's giving you.

My roller rockers came with lock nuts.

I got a huge gasket kit from Autozone for the lower half of the engine. The only thing I needed beyond that was intake manifold, exhaust, and head gaskets.

1. Not unless you buy them from Lloyd.......2. Yes they come with the rockers........3. Like mentioned www.summitracing.com "Trickflow section" part# TFS-31400911 but IMO, there expensive for what ya get (about $325)... also when I last checked, Thunder Racing had a complete kit for every gasket needed (for both head and cam swap), and (for just cam swaps).........Just some head gasket options incase you weren't aware, most stock bottom end LE package guys go with a thinner head gasket than the stock thick ones.....common gaskets for this are the GM Impala gasket(29thou thick).....and the Mr Gasket 5716's (26thou thick).......these will bump your compression a bit or at least bring things back to the way they were before the unshrouding chamber work Lloyd does to the heads that increases the CC's a few(or so)........Joe
