Thread and pitch of bolts to mount LT1 to engine stand?

Anyone know these? I'm bolting the engine to a X pattern engine stand so I can rotate that bad boy. Anyone know the bolt size?

The bolts that retain the transmission to the back of the block are 3/8 coarse thread (USS, not metric). The thread count is 16 per inch. Thread pitch is not an issue on USS fasteners.

You can use any of the bellhousing holes to mount to. I use the bottom two and then two up top at about 11 and 1.......maybe it's 10 and 2, but you get the idea. I think you should be good with 4" bolts...don't forget washers.

For anyone still checking this topic I found I need 2.5" bolts to hold tight against the engine with my Harbor Freight purchased engine stand. 3/8's coarse is the size that fits my LT1 engine.

3/8 x 16 course, 2 1/2" long.

Get stainless or grade 8, not the cheapo 30 cents each ones.

edit:: oops old thread...
