Those who have installed their own fuel pumps, what kind of fuel-resistant epoxy?

What kind of epoxy/glue did you guys use?
I haven't found any actual 2 part epoxy that is fuel resistant.
I found a tube of "Seal-All" at Autozone that is gas and oil resistant that says it can be used as a sealant and as an adhesive.
Has anyone used this stuff before?

Did you happen to buy the LT1 fuel pump 'kit' from Summit? Just a guess because I did first and their wonderfull 'kit' didn't include that glue. I looked all over for some and couldnt find it anywhere, then ended up sending the kit back to Summit since it was missing that key piece along with other items. I then purchased the Racetronix kit for $150, which was a complete kit. That was the only thing I ever bought from Summit that I ever had a problem with but it really pissed me off at the time.
Oh yea, I don't think gas and oil 'resistant' means it is meant to be soaked in gas 24/7. I almost bought that too but decided it wasnt a good idea,

well, i searched google and looks like alot of people, especially motorcycles use it to repair cracks and holes in gas tanks. I guess I'll try it unless someone else pitches in

It is a safe guess, the epoxy/adhesive is available, somewhere. I highly doubt Racetronix 'concocted' it in their lab, in the back room. The problem is, (barring someone who has a proven solution, stepping forward) how much searching and experimenting with products do you care to do? Racetronix sells a product for a realistic price. If some consider the price that is set, is at a premium, well, sometimes, a price can be put on time, and legwork. You pays you money, you makes you choice.

JB Weld is gas and oil resistant. People use it inside cylinder head ports all the time to re-shape ports etc.., and they're pretty much filled with fuel most of the time.

Ok - this bother's me everytime this is brought up - I needed my car fixed in the morning, and this is the night befeore a year ago about. I HAD to fix my fuel pump, no stores open, and I never received racetronix glue - so I used some epoxy. Whats the worst that could happen if it wasnt made to sit in fuel? Im afraid to pull the pump back out and see...

i went ahead and used the seal-all. should be fine i would think if it is used to repair holes in tanks.
The bucket should stay together if the adhesive doesnt hold. its got a bracket on the bottom

Good god, That damned "bucket".
I got rid of that thing after about the 2nd pump install I did on these cars. I had it off of my 97' 383, and had NO problems with fuel starvation. I used JB weld the 1st time, and when I pulled it back apart, it had fallen apart. I said to myself "never again" and yanked it.

You can just put the bucket back together with some wire like a twist-tie or a big hose clamp. Both are fuel resistant.

When I used the Racetronix kit, It came with what appeared to be super glue for the bucket. Had the same properties. I glued it, duct taped it together until it dried and installed it.

I also tossed the bucket when I installed the Walbro and have never had a problem with fuel starvation.
I did have problems keeping the hose connecting the pump to the hard line from blowing off but double clamping it has solved that problem.
Been running it without the bucket for 20k now with no problems.
