I recently put the OTVC wires on my 95 TA from Elite and the wires look great, however the design for the passenger side that goes to the Opti is a little awkward and wondering if any of you had problems getting the wires on the pass side of the Opti? I was also wondering if you can access the pass side of the opti easier by removing the Harmonic Balncer and the Belt Tensioner pulley, so I can make sure I get the boots on the opti good.

 

i ran mine directly behind my alternator on the pass. side and havent had any problems at all.

 

Remove the belt tensioner and you can get to it much easier.

 

Yea, Ive got the wires routed just fine behind the Alt. as well its just I had difficulty getting #2 especially on the Opti. and I think its not snapped on properly now. I'll try taking the Tensioner and balancer off and see if that helps.

 

I removed my alternator also. Next time around, I am probably going to pull the power steering pump forward as well to better route the wires.

 

I removed the alternator and just ran them behind it, havent had any problems yet.
