i have a friend who's selling his 93 Z28 for around 3500 and i thought it'd be a good upgrade to my daily driver position. its got 153xxx miles, A4, black hardtop w/ the big block stinger hood and high rise spoiler (kinda ricey IMO). Its had overheating problems and we think its a clogged cat, but my question is if you guys think this would be worth spending about $2k on once i sell my beater? Should I be worried about it overheating before? The idea of having 2 LT1s is just awesome to me

 

That's an awful lot of miles. If you do decide to buy it, make sure you do a compression check on it first.

Be prepared to drop some $$$ on it if you do get it either way.

I'd personally look for a more reliable daily driver than a Z if I already had a modded one.
