Thinking about an MSD ignition set up, need opinions?

Thinking about an MSD ignition set up, need opinions?

Is there any advantage to buying an msd ignition on a stock motored car? Smoother idle, more power through the powerband, better mileage?

im talking about the ignition box or whatever it is that plugs onto the coil

I go the opti and blaster coil with wires....cuz i needed an opti so i did it all.....still might do 6AL but personally i wouldnt change anything unless its not working

The box won't make a difference on a stock car.

when would it make a difference? with a cam?

The box will come in handy with a heads/cam car or forced induction.
