My sound card is stuck in a reverb mode so I couldn't really hear it as well as I wanted to, but one thing I think I might of heard was a hiss. That means a vacuum line might have came loose, but that won't do anything with the oil pump. You could have the oil pressure professionally tested (well at like pep boys or someone like that) with a different, plugin gauge. Get a screwdriver and place the metal tip on the top of the engine where the heads are by a bolt , put your ear on the big plastic end and and rev it alittle. hear any knocking or pinging? Is it loud? spun cam bearings wound not make the oil pressure drop to 0 though. You cant check it unless you take it completly apart for spun cam bearings
Well, at this point I'm going to wait for the expert to come over next week. But your right, the sound while I was under the hood was off fom the real thing. But it does seem now that it's starting to knock a little while it's cold. If it does need a rebuild I'm starting to think of a cam kit, any suggestions?

It's probably knocking because the rings are grabbing the cylinder walls and hitting the skirts or something (because of the lack of oil). You are still having that oil pressure problem right?

Something that I didn't know till now (books didn't mention this) is that the oil pressure goes through the gallies and if the bearing are spun it won't let the oil through and you wouldn't get any pressure to the sending unit. My stepdad told me that so it looks like I was wrong :/

Nop, it's not burning oil. The oil pressure is low (as per the gauge) but should be enough. I'm told it dosen't drop until it's hot, and the idea on the bearings is what I got from another garagist the other day. But until someone hears it live, I'll just have to wait until tuesday.
