I'm glad my opti has lasted long enough for this one to come out - I heard before it IS NOT water resistant - what are the diffs between this and dynotechs?

Ponyhntr, you mentioned that you got the opti direct from MSD.
How did you order direct from them?

Water resistant, yes.... water PROOF, maybe. The cap is sealed to the case with a o-ring.

he was pointing out they are NOT the same - he didn't know what you meant, and I'm still unsure if you really understand the difference if you are saying they are the same to you- he made a good point.

nobody said it was better than Dynatechs yet, and Dynatechs is AT LEAST water resistant (I don't know how much) - they both are.....I'm thinking Dynatechs may be water-proof (or close to it) based on the higher price tag -- which brings me back to my question

Does anybody know the difference between the two besides MSDs looking better?
