$75 -- The "Saver" Package includes any 3 items from the following: Remove Skip Shift, Adjust Rev Limiter, Adjust Fan Kick On Temperature, Adjust Speed Limiter, Disable Any Code, Disable VATS, Adjust for different tire/gear size, knock retard desensitizing. This service does not include power tuning. Please add a core charge (Item #8) if you would like to exchange PCMs.

I used MadZ28 and his customer service sucks. If I could do it over again I would have used PCM4Less.

Personally, I would put up the extra money and get the full package that includes the power tuning. If you are set on the "saver package" though, I would definitely go with the coolant fan on/off temp adjustment and since you have headers, I would maybe consider the knock retard desensitizing.

And to add to that, he did a fine job when setting up mine for a H/C swap that involved many other modifications.

I second it, his service sucks. of course I have h/c and other mods. to make this story short his tune was way too lean, he would not make any changes to it. wanted me to buy the moates setup to make the changes myself. decided to go with a live tune to get mine straight. but with your minor mods a mail order tune prob. would be the way to go. but I would def. look at pcmforless as another option.

I can't comment on the other tuners but I am very happy with the PCMFORLESS tune.

He was a little bit slow getting back to my emails, but his work spoke for himself and my tune is a great deal better over stock.

Atleast for my 93Z, it came with the optional "Z" rated tires and has not speed limiter from the factory..

id deffinately save for the power tuning. if you cant figure out what other options you would like it probably means they are pretty much useless to you.

i also had a bad experience with MadZ28, didn't disable skip shift, set up WAY to lean, didn't answer any questions when i called, told me they tuned it all perfectly when i was looking at the sheet and my shifter and it would only go 1-4-5-6-R..?? so next time i get a tune its gonna be PCMforless

It just seems really crummy that you have to pick three things. I just used PCMforless and told them what i want. There was no pick three, but only a full mail order tune.

Although I have seen an increase in complaints about slow service in recent months.

You're right it's crummy... that they don't offer a cheaper service for people who just need a couple of simple things done.

You could always just contact him and tell him that you really only want the VATs disabled. There was a time where I only wanted to have one thing done to my PCM and he was willing to do it for a smaller cost.
