these fit???

I am looking at some corvette c5 rims and the guy says they have no sensors. the rear tires are 275/40/18's and the fronts are 245/45/17's will these be clearing everything ok?

The 275/40-18 will be about 1" larger in diameter than the stock tires, and throw your speedo off by 4%. The better choice would be a 275/35 or a 285/35. The larger diameter will raise the back of your car 1/2" more off the ground, and push the tire 1/2" further up into the wheel well, which generally isn't a problem. The larger diameter will also be like lowering the numerical rear axle ratio by 4%.

Whether the tires will rub will be determined more by the backspacing of the wheels than the tire size. Some of the 18" C5 wheels have a 65mm offset, which puts the wheel a little too deep into the wheel well.
