Thermostat

would there be a big difference in a 160 deg. thermo and a 180 deg.? What would be best for my 95? I would also be interested in hearing your opinions on how much of a difference they made on your cars!! any input would be very appriciated!

Thank you,
Justin

either of them arent going to help at all unless you program your fans to come on sooner!!

Your temps will reduce by that much if your car is moving at highway speeds, but unless you program the fans or use a cooler fan switch, your temps will be the same is stop and go traffic.

you dont NEED to reprogram. Just make a manual fan switch for about $8.

I got a 160 stat, and had my car programmed for the fans to turn on earlier (among several other things) and the car ran a lot better till the opti took a crap.
