Is there a way to make an interface cable yourself

I want to do the e-mail programing through pcmforless and was wondering if you can make your own interface cable for an ob1 connection.

I was actually wondering the same thing myself. Also, would an old hypertech PP cable work? Its got the same end on it that plugs into cpu ports?

Just a thought...

If you want to build your own cable because it sounds like a fun project, that's one thing.

If you want to do it merely to save money, you might want to remember that, like cable TV; you aren't paying for the product, you're paying for the convenience.
