Is there a better option for my Valve springs?

Right now Im running comp 977's with around .601 lift on my LE3 heads. they have been on the car for a while and work fine but have to be near the end of there life.. I dont think theres a time that the car goes out and doesnt see 6700 rpms.

So my question is, should I just replace the springs with another set of 977's or is there something better out there that would reduce the valve train weight?

On a side note I plan on running a smaller cam with the turbo setup im building (winter project), something in the 580 lift and 220 duration area. would something that works for the .600 lift be the same for the smaller cam?

If they work fine, what do you hope to gain? Why do you say they are at the end of their life? Anyway, if they work well and you want new springs I'd say get the same thing.

well there almost 4 years old, and have taken a beating. springs dont last forever and as preventative maintenance I figured I would replace them before they broke.... Im hoping to gain a lighter valve train....

PAC 1518 is a .650 lift beehive that will most likely last the life of your engine.
